education action league for haiti

The members of the HWC recognized the importance of addressing the need of our young people in Haiti.

During the 2020-21 timeframe, our members:

  • started a youth program; youth club.
  • initiated conversations with girl leadership organizations to ensure we were aware of the issues and how to best address them.
  • established our Girls Initiative, focused on providing a safe space for girls to meet and have fun!
  • will offer a summer program to focus on teaching leadership principles to girls. They are the future and need to be prepared.

Education continues to be an overall program goal for all of our members.
