Chairperson of Perspectives Haitiennes

Dr. Monalisa Ferrari is the CEO for Ferrari and Associates International, LLC. She is currently employed by the New York City Department of Education and has worked in a variety of positions such as Professional Development Coordinator, Dean, Middle School Director, Lead Teacher, and Mentor among others. She holds a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership and Administration. She has served as President of the Haitian Educators League for Progress from 2010-2013 Inc., a not-for-profit community-based organization serving Haitian educators in New York City and Haiti since the earthquake 2010. As a community organizer and activist, she has collaborated with other organizations on a wide selection of issues surrounding human rights. She is the Host of a 34-year-old weekly radio program on 91.5 FM WNYE NY, now on Radyo Pa Nou Perspectives Haitiennes the voice of the Society for Haitian Research where she serves as President and Mentor.
